Police said the incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. in the vicinity of Kensington Oval, prompting the temporary closure of sections of the roadway and traffic diversions while forensic investigations were carried out. Speaking to media personnel at the scene, Acting Inspector Ryan Brathwaite said police received a report from a female caller indicating that a man was lying beneath a truck. Brathwaite said the road was cordoned off from the area of Westbury Road, with traffic diverted. “Vehicles travelling from the upper section of President Kennedy Drive and Eagle Hall into President Kennedy Drive were diverted at the stop lights onto Westbury Road,” he said.
