Speaking to the media shortly after the official opening, Williams said preparations had progressed smoothly and stakeholders were ready to deliver what he described as another strong exhibition of the island’s agricultural potential. Meanwhile, Minister of Agriculture Dr Shantal Munro-Knight, used the occasion to announce the launch of a new schools-based initiative aimed at strengthening youth engagement in farming. She revealed that 13 greenhouses will be distributed to selected schools.
