Alvin George Chung, of Searles Plantation, Christ Church, had denied robbing Llewelun Walthurst of $69 881 and US$1 259 belonging to KFC on December 31, 2019. Following a three-month trial, the nine-member jury acquitted Chung, who was represented by attorney Kaviar Callender. Senior State Counsel Kevin Forde prosecuted the case. Justice Pamela Beckles informed Chung he was free to go.
