Playing at Dover Christ Church today in the Carolyn Sinclair/Marion Johnson-Hurley Zone, the Vauxhall-based team defeated St Christopher Primary 9-3 and St Lawrence Primary 7-3. St Lawrence Primary rebounded in their second game, however, to ease past Arthur Smith 7-1. Christ Church Girls’ were also successful, as they beat St Christopher 8-1 and Bay Primary 2-1, while drawing 2–2 with St Paul’s Primary. There were mixed fortunes for Arthur Smith, who got past St Gabriel’s 4-1, but were beaten 5-2 by Bay Primary. St Gabriel’s also drew 3-3 with St Paul’s Primary but edged out Bay Primary 2-1.
