The Christ Church boy is accused of robbing Alexander Webb of a chain valued at $12 000 belonging to Reuben King on May 25. The offence, which is indictable, was read to the accused by Magistrate Manila Renee. Objecting to his release, prosecutor Sergeant Kenmore Phillips told the court that it was alleged that a firearm had been used in the commission of the offence, that the offence was committed after 10 p.m., โthe tender age of the accused [which] shows a lack of supervisionโ, the need to protect society and the accused, and the strength of the evidence.
