A 40-year-old labourer has been granted $3 000 bail after admitting that he failed to leave a woman’s premises when directed, while denying charges of assault and criminal damage.

Andre Dion Husbands of No. 2 Hilltop, Pine, St Michael, admitted that, on August 15, he did not leave Karen Nurse’s premises after she directed him to do so.

He, however, denied assaulting Nurse, occasioning her actual bodily harm and damaging her glasses on the same date.

There was no objection to his bail, and Husbands will return to the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on November 4.
