Big wins for Police, Silver Raiders

Police Boys & Girls Club and Structural System Silver Raiders recorded comfortable victories as the Barbados Netball Association League season continued at the UWI Courts on Sunday.

In the Diamonds Division, Police Boys & Girls Club defeated Wolverines 45-17 after leading 10-4, 23-10 and 35-13 at the end of the opening three quarters.

Ginae Austin converted 27 of her 45 attempts and Makel Alleyne 18 of 28. For Wolverines, Kianna Harte converted nine of 15 attempts, Tyesha Trotman five of 11 and Miracle Gibson three of four.

In Rubies B Division action, Structural System Silver Raiders defeated Police Sports Club 33-7 after leading 6-1, 12-3 and 23-6 at the end of the opening three quarters.

Sharisa Forde led the way with 21 goals from 30 attempts, while Zakajah Ramsey added 12 from 22.

Margaret Spooner converted six of 11 attempts and Tracy Payne one of three for Police Sports Club.
