Wharton leads UWI to commanding win

Shonica Wharton delivered a flawless shooting performance as UWI cruised to a comprehensive 47-28 victory over Wolverines in the Diamonds Division in Barbados Netball Association league action on Wednesday. 

Wharton successfully converted all 29 of her attempts, while Rynia Ifill was on target with 18 of her 31 shots.

For Wolverines, Kianna Harte and Tyesha Trotman both made 14 of their 25 shots.

In action from the Opals Division, Vauxhall eased to a 26-4 victory over Panthers. Janai Harvey had an 11 of 18 shooting night for Vauxhall, while Francia Drakes scored 9 of 14.

The Panthers attack struggled, with Zanae Holder converting one of her two attempts and Amara Primus three of six. (KH)
