Kayla Hurley, 17, of Collins St Peter, suffered pain to her neck and upper body after falling into 20-feet well at her home on Sunday around 4:30 p.m.

According to police, Hurley was standing on the well covered by a piece of plywood, which gave away.

Corey Scantlebury, of the same address, used a ladder to rescue Hurley from the well. Personnel from the Barbados Fire Service also responded to the incident.

She was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
