Barbados TODAY has confirmed that Pilgrim, a former general secretary, has handed in his resignation. Back in September, Pilgrim was defeated by Verla De Peiza as he made a bid to be elected president. Pilgrim’s departure comes after Prime Minister Mia Mottley announced last weekend that former DLP members George Connelly and Rodney Grant had joined the ruling Barbados Labour Party.
