Clarke, who served as the Executive Director of the BCSI for the past five years, spent his last day with the organisation on Friday, October 15. In a statement announcing his departure, Clarke said it was a privilege for him to lead the BCSI and to contribute to the ongoing development of the services sector on the island. “Despite a few challenges, as an organisation, we were able to record some notable achievements and realise a number of significant milestones,” he said. In highlighting some of the achievements of the organisation during his tenure, Clarke pointed to several high-level webinars and training events, a new website, a magazine, contribution to a number of national concept papers and initiatives, and the launch of annual fish-bowl conversation series on issues relevant to members. “I wish to convey my best wishes to the organisation for the future and thank all who supported me and contributed to the success of the organisation during my time at the helm,” he said.
