She was a student of the Springer Memorial School. Reid was in the company of two friends when she got into difficulty. She was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are asking anyone with information related to the incident to contact the Central Police Station at 430-7676, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers 1-800-8477 or any police station.
