This is about 2280 km or 1420 miles to the east south-east of Barbados In a weather statement, the BMS said the system is moving towards the west at 10 miles-per-hour. This motion is expected to continue over the next 24 hours with a gradual turn towards the west north-west thereafter. The forecasters said convection remains somewhat disorganized at the moment as environmental conditions are currently not conducive for rapid development of the system. However, as the system tracks westward across the central Atlantic some slow development is possible. The BMS said it will continue to monitor the progress of this system.
