The results from St. George Primary’s inter-house sports are not yet final pending the cricket ball throw event to take place at the school sometime next week.

However, on the conclusion of today’s track races, Blue House on 374 points were ahead of Red House in second position on 354 while defending champions Green House tallied 328 to be in third place and Yellow House were fourth with 266.

The top boy and girl in the Under-nine Division hailed from Blue House in the persons of Daquante Austin and Mariah Mounter-Clarke each scoring 30 points. Those two were victorious in the 80m, 100m and 1500m races.

Blue House also ran away with the Under-13 Boys age group with great running on track from Jymarian Malett as he stamped his authority to win the 100m, 200m and 400m which earned him 30 points.

The fastest girl at St. George Primary is Maliqua Cherubin of Yellow House in the Under-13 Girls category with top performances in the 100m, 200m and 400m also for a total of 30 points.

Zachary Wall of Green House meant business in the Under-11 Boys Division with comfortable victories in the 100m, 200m and 300m races for 30 points. Wall will be one to watch when the National Primary Schools Athletics Championship begins next month.

In the Under-11 Girls, Shonica Small of Red House accumulated 30 points as she stood out in the 100, 200m and 300m for her house.
