NORTH SOUND, Antigua, CMC – Pacers Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel sliced through the England lower order to bowl the tourists out for 187 in their first innings, less than an hour after tea on the opening day of the second Test here Thursday.
Resuming from tea on 172 for six, England lost their lost four wickets for 15 runs, with Roach and Gabriel sharing the spoils.
Roach ended with four for 30 to follow up his five-wicket haul in Barbados while Gabriel finished with three for 45 and seamer Alzarri Joseph, two for 38.
Top-scorer Moeen Ali, unbeaten at tea on 55, made 60 before falling in the fifth over following the resumption, clipping a simple catch to Shannon Gabriel at mid-wicket off Roach.
Wicketkeeper Ben Foakes added three to his tea time 32 before playing on to Gabriel, and tail-enders Sam Curran (6) and James Anderson (1) offered little resistance.
