A 24-year-old welder began his first day on remand at HMP Dodds after appearing in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on a firearm charge.
It is alleged that the accused, Ckeimo Leroy Daren Best, of No. 19 Edgehill Terrace, St Thomas supplied a firearm to Jonell Williams on February 17 and did not have a valid licence to do so.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today with his legal counsel Andrew Willoughby.
The case against him will continue on March 22.

Lock them up. I would like John King to do another rendition of those heart felt lyrics “Lock them up”.
What kind of charge that
Even if he give the man a gun he can say not if only the man is a witness
TROY WELCH –
1. Maybe Ckeimo Leroy Daren Best prints was on the firearm?
2. Maybe Jonell Williams told police who she got gun from being that she didnt want to take the rap for him.
In any event, good police work Troy, no?
