After several weeks of encouraging employees and customers to participate in its Love Drive initiative in aid of the food bank, company officials today were proud to hand over a range of items to Stacia Whittaker, the Food Bank’s Manager and Community Nutrition Officer. The presentation was made at the company’s CGI Tower office by CGI General Manager/Director Peter Harris along with Customer Service Manager Miss Chonell Harper and Marketing Manager Ms Ann Barrow. Ms Barrow noted that the majority of items collected were donated by staff with some customers making contributions as well. “It was heartening to see colleagues respond quickly, even checking on what was donated already and volunteering to get additional items to shore up the donation.” She noted that this was the second time CGI had donated to the Food Bank. The supplies were a mixture of non-perishable food items and toiletries and Whittaker thanked CGI for its generous contribution on behalf of the recipients at the HIV Food Bank.
