Several families gathered at the Weymouth Police Ground, St Michael today for the annual Salvation Army Easter Monday Family Fun Day.

Not only did they enjoy the Bajan delicacies and participated in fun sporting activities, but also supported entrepreneurs who had a variety of food, drinks, clothing, fruits and vegetables on sale.

“Basically this event is to bring families in the Salvation Army together. Yes we know we go to church with each other but it is a different atmosphere when we can get together to laugh, have a conversation and just have some fun together.” one of the organisers of the event Neco Ifill, told Barbados TODAY.

There were also lots of give aways at the event which began around 10:30 a.m.(AH)
