Branch president Davidson Ishmael told Barbados TODAY members of the constituency were desirous of having a united activity for sometime and this event was the first of its kind for the area. “So we said for this Easter we wanted to do something different and bring all of the various parts of the constituency together. So we have people here from Grazettes, we have people here from Cave Hill, we have people from Husbands Development, from every part of the constituency we have people who have come out to the Eden Lodge playing field to be apart of our Easter Extravaganza, with this being the first year,” Ishmael explained. He said constituents who are entrepreneurs were included in the planning process and were given the opportunity to sell various products including cosmetics, clothing, food, snacks, and drinks. We have our Cave Hill Nazarene Church who set up a prayer and counselling booth so patrons are able to go to them in a very quiet corner and have prayer and counselling. We have the Cave Hill Wesleyan Church as well and they are here selling some products to assist them with their building fund. So we are building everybody together. We also have a road tennis tournament . . . a domino tournament . . . and . . . a soccer tournament,” Ishmael said.
