Emergency crews are currently on the scene under the leadership of ASP Trevor Blackman of the Royal Barbados Police Force and Dep Chief Fire Officer Henderson Patrick of the Barbados Fire Service. At this stage the situation is still being assessed and members of the public are warned against venturing in that area. Sections of the ABC Highway between the Samuel Jackman Prescod Roundabout and the Norman Niles Roundabout may be closed during the assessment stage.
