Admission is free. Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Cynthia Forde, will officially declare the games opened at 8 a.m. and this will be followed by the first track event, featuring athletes aged 80 to 90-plus. Patrons will enjoy a day of fun, fellowship and fitness as athletes, aged 40 years and over, compete in a range of track and field events. There will also be a number of special races aimed at entertaining the crowd, including a Mother Sally race scheduled for 12:45 p.m. and a Parliamentarians’ race scheduled for 3:10 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and support the senior athletes.
