Keenly contested Junior Calypso Monarch semis

Two semifinals in this year’s Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch got under way last night

Twelve contestants each in the 6 to 10 and 11 to 14 age groups faced the judges. Both semifinals 1 and 2 were keenly contested.

The lucky finalists from Semi No.1, 2 and 3 will be named tonight after Semifinal No. 3 the 15 to 18 age group.

For the first time three junior monarchs will be crowned as oppose to the usual two. (IMC)
