Fire at Grazettes Industrial Park

Police and Fire Department are currently at the scene of a building fire at Grazettes Industrial Park, St Michael .

The fire is said to have started just after 6 am on Sunday.

Two commercial businesses are currently affected – Midwest ‘Garment’ and Glass Fibre Products.

Residents in the area west of the Industrial Park are asked to take necessary precautions to avoid smoke inhalation, as undisclosed chemicals may be spewing into the atmosphere.

Fire personnel, under the command of Deputy chief Fire Officer  Henderson Patrick, are on the scene.
