Organiser, Gregg Jones said he is hoping that enthusiastic wrestling supporters will come out and watch the event titled Bruggadown. Jones explained that as a child he always loved wrestling and hoped to one day bring the event to Barbados. He said that dream was now being realised. Local organiser for Burggadown Gregg Jones is happy with the response so far and encouraged all wrestling fans to come out and witness the event. “The old school, they haven’t seen it for years and even though a lot of stars are new, the whole vibe of it… it’s professional wrestling, it’s sports entertainment and the new school that never probably got to see a lot of them (wrestlers) in person, I want them to be able to say, ‘Hey, I have seen wrestling live, I know what it is all about’, “ Jones explained. I expect that from here on that things would pick up a lot more,” Jones said. He added: “The guys (wrestlers) would actually be here from early next week and what we plan to do is pop-ups where people can meet the guys and we are doing special discounts and give always.” Former WWE diva Melina Nava Perez will light up the stage with her beauty and skills.
