March is St Thomas Parish Month

The St Thomas Parish Independence Committee will host its parish month activities throughout March, to herald the We Gatherin’ 2020 Celebrations, under the theme Celebrate Nature.

The activities will begin on Sunday, March 1, with the We Gatherin’ Multi-faith Service, at The Lester Vaughn School, beginning at 4 pm, where the 2020 Parish Ambassadors will be ceremonially sashed.

The following Saturday, March 7, persons are invited to attend Treasures of St Thomas: Heritage Hike, which leaves from the St Thomas Post Office at 3:45 pm.

On Saturday, March 14, Let Praises Rise: The Gospel Concert will take place at Faith Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, from 6 pm.

The following week, St Thomas Tipple: The Rumshop Run, will take place on Saturday, March 21, at Mars Bar, Bridgefield, from 7 pm.

The month of events will conclude with We Gatherin’ Heart uh Barbados, on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, at Welchman Hall, from 8 am. until 9 pm.
