Connell was shot at his residence at 11:50 pm Friday night. Police say Connell was in his living room when a number of explosions were heard. He was struck in the upper and lower abdomen. Connell was transported by private transportation to Sandy Crest Medical Facility where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
