Mr. Abrahams stated: “Currently, the LPG marketers have adequate supplies of gas to service the market for several weeks. In addition, regular ships are scheduled to replenish supplies, and these supplies are expected to continue without interruption. “The hoarding of cylinders by the public creates unnecessary stress on the systems as it contributes to a shortage of bottles for refilling and distribution.” He added that the sale of LPG cylinders will be restricted to one cylinder per person, effective immediately.
