Just before being released on bail today, a middle-aged man who described his profession as a game fisher was given a strong warning by District “A” Court Magistrate Wanda Blair.
Her stern message was conveyed to 50-year-old Gregory Tedroy Dawe of 3rd Avenue, Licorish Village, St Michael.
Dawe had pleaded not guilty to assaulting Lizieanna Mapp on April 1, occasioning her actual bodily harm.
But before granting him bail in the sum of $3,000, the magistrate told the accused to stay away from Mapp and be back in court on August 13.
The prosecution did not object to bail.
