Persons desirous of donating blood are asked to call 429-4307 or 836-7993 to make an appointment. These volunteers must be between the ages of 18 and 70, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. The National Blood Collecting Centre will continue to operate between 8:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. on weekdays, and 8 a.m. and 12 noon on Saturdays; and only persons who have made an appointment and are scheduled to donate blood will be allowed access to the facility.
