Orentia Patricia Spencer, of Bird Hall, Haggatt Hall, St Michael is charged with using a cellular phone on April 22 to send an indecent or obscene message, which she intended to cause or was reckless as to whether she caused annoyance, inconvenience, distress or anxiety to Deandra Harewood. The 28-year-old, who was represented by attorney-at-law Samuel Legay, pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today. With no objection from prosecutor Sergeant Vernon Waithe she secured $3,000 bail with one surety. The accused has been warned to stay away from the complainant.
