Closed are its branches at Cheapside in the City and Wildey, St Michael. Referring to the COVID-19 global pandemic, management sighted the effects of the โunprecedented situationโ. The statement reads: โAs we try to navigate this new world order and enter unchartered waters of social distancing, we have decided to close our Cheapside and Wildey locations, effective immediately.โ The proprietors said they will now focus on their online service which will give customers โnew shopping optionsโ. โOver the coming weeks, we will also introduce changes to our systems and a new online platform,โ the statement said.
