Shellie-Ann Monique Atkins, of No. 133 Warrens Park South, St Michael is accused of having 20 rounds of .223 ammunition; 50 rounds of .45 auto calibre ammunition and one 5.56 calibre rifle without the necessary licences. It is further alleged that on the same day Atkins had cocaine in her possession, which was also intended for supply and trafficking. The accused is also facing a charge of engaging in money laundering in connection with BDS$8,255 and US$1,718 cash, allegedly the proceeds of crime. The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charges, which allegedly occurred on June 17. She appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today and was represented by attorney-at-law Rashida Edwards. Atkins will make her next appearance in the District โAโ No.1 Magistratesโ Court on July 20.
