#BTColumn – Save them from the dark, dangerous, deadly pit of Hell

I make bold to say that within the columns of the print media there are not enough objections to claims made by activists and advocates of alternative lifestyles and sub-cultural practices that run counter to what is written in the Holy Bible.

Sadly, there are a multiplicity of translations and interpretations of the Good Book that are likely to give credibility to each and every utterance made by those who would
wish to teach and preach falsely – Herein lies our dilemma.

There is a bombardment of opinions emanating from sections of mainstream news and information sources seeking to prove the validity and correctness of lifestyles contrary to what is set out in the word of God.

A few passages of Scripture would suffice. The first is found in the King James version of Genesis, Chapter 2, verses 20 to 24: “And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” The above is the perfect example of how a man and a woman should co-habit when God made Eve a woman and wife as “an help meet for him” and not another man with similar attributes as Adam.

The second example is seen in the first chapter of Genesis verses 27 to 30 where it is clearly shown that God (deliberately and purposefully) made male and female (verse 27) not male only or female only, because they were commanded to be fruitful and multiply (verse 28). This could only have been accomplished if they were male and female.

God also gave them every fruit-bearing seed and every herb for meat (verses 29 and 30).

God never advised man to smoke or drink the herb, God said: “I have given every green herb for meat”.

As often as advocates speak out and defend same-sex marriage and marijuana smoking, Christians and other followers of the Bible should counter with what is clearly set
out in the Word of God.

Too many of younger generations are being led down the dark, dangerous and deadly pit of Hell and they must be saved.
