Holness; Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport, Daryl Vaz; and Minister without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister, Dana Morris Dixon, also took a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus from the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre and travelled along Hope Road with students to the bus stop at Jamaica College. The route is also taken by students from Mona and Papine high schools. Students were able to interact with the Cabinet ministers who offered them their best wishes for the 2024/25 academic year. Scores of parents in the capital also accompanied their children during the commute to schools for introductions, devotions and classes.
