Customers’ next motor insurance quote is literally in the palms of their hands, thanks to Sagicor General Insurance (SGI) and the latest update to the Sagicor Go mobile app.
Current registered users of the mobile application, as well as guests and non-clients, will now be able to generate an instant quote for motor vehicle insurance from the convenience of their mobile phone or tablet, regardless of the time of day.
Users will also appreciate the fact that due to the application’s nonintrusive quotation calculator, their personal and contact information will remain anonymous until they are ready to save the quote and proceed to the next stage.
Tracey Knight-Lloyd, SGI’s vice-president – Customer Experience, said that “after such a satisfying and user-friendly experience, all that’s required is for the individual to contact us using one of our many accessible channels to get themselves the best motor insurance coverage in the market.”
The launch of this new update comes shortly after the insurance provider rolled out its online claims service, allowing clients to submit claims via the Sagicor Client Portal. By visiting client.sagicor.com, policyholders who have been involved in a motor accident, are now able to submit their claim online in real time, inclusive of uploading accompanying images showing damage from the incident. They can complete the process with an electronic signature, after which, they will receive confirmation of the submission, along with the claim number and officer assigned to handle their claim.
