The initiative, which was launched last Thursday invites visitors to Dominica with special packages, encouraging persons to encounter the rich, vibrant culture to help stimulate travel winto the island. Sa Ka Fête, which when translated from creole means “What’s Up?” also sends a message to tourists that Dominica is opened for business, specifically targeting travellers from the CARICOM ‘Travel Bubble’ and destinations classified as low risk. “We are welcoming travellers who do not require a PCR test to enter Dominica, but for those coming from low-risk destinations, a negative PCR test result where samples were taken within 24-72 hours of arrival is required,” said Colin Piper, CEO of Discover Dominica Authority.
