Hospital administrator Julie Reid said in a statement that effective immediately all visits will be suspended. In the meantime, Bayview said its nursing team and physicians will provide patient updates via phone and facilitate video calls with patients via various technologies where possible. Reid said the policy will be reviewed and possibly adjusted as the hospital receives further updates from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
