Minister of Labour and Social Partnership Relations Colin Jordan acknowledged that the current industrial climate remains “tense” in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. He attributed this to job security fears among workers while employers remain worried about declining revenue and their ability to remain in business. Jordan however assured that his ministry was keeping a watchful eye on developments, pledging that Government would protect the interests of all workers while maintaining a harmonious labour environment.
