Jabari Jaleel Kirton on Wednesday admitted to the No. 2 Supreme Court to five criminal offences committed on May 24, 2019 before Justice Randall Worrell during a virtual sitting. Kirton admitted possession of a .380 auto calibre pistol and five rounds of ammunition as well as possession and having of a trafficable quantity of cannabis – 1.24 kilogrammes. He also admitted to engaging in money laundering with the sums of BDS$9,047 and US$90 found on him. A presentencing report which was previously ordered on Kirton is already before the court but an officer from Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds is still expected to present his official time on remand. When Kirton reappears before Justice Worrell with his attorney Andrew Pilgrim Q.C., on Monday, April 26, Crown Counsel Rudolph Burnett will outline the facts of the offences for the prosecution.
