The firm announced the appointments of attorneys Annette Linton, Sabrina Maynard, and Richelle Nichols as partners with effect from May 1. Managing Partner, Ramon Alleyne QC, said all three of the new partners had proven themselves ready to assume larger leadership roles within the firm, and were thoroughly deserving of the opportunity, given their years of hard work, loyalty and commitment. He noted he was confident in the ability of all three new partners to deliver on their performance mandates. โWe are pleased to offer our congratulations to three new partners who are more than deserving. These appointments come as we continue the implementation of our strategic plan, which is intended to ensure the Firmโs future sustainability and relevance, while also supporting the expansion of our service offerings. Individually, each of the new partners brings a decade or more of experience, combining for a total of 36 years in legal practice. As partner, Linton will focus on adding momentum to the Property practice in which she formerly served as a senior associate; Maynard who previously served as a senior associate in the commercial department, will now drive a mandate to expand the departmentโs services with a focus on Tax and corporate structuring, while Nichols will lead an expansion of the Firmโs Insurance law practice within the Litigation Department, where she previously served as a senior associate. All three of the new partners are graduates of the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago, and the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
