Joyce Lady Straker passes away

Joyce Lady Straker, the wife of Sir Emile Straker, has passed away.

She died peacefully last evening surrounded by her family.

She was the mother of Dean, Ray and Stacey-Jane.

Lady Straker was a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur, having owned and operated the Lady Jane’s boutique, the Banana Boat Restaurant and the Plantation Tropical Spectacular.

Lady Straker was also the first female pilot of Barbados.
