Police Public Relations Officer, Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said about 10:00 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Inniss said on arrival lawmen discovered a 49-year-old male lying in a pool of blood. “He had sustained lacerations to his right calf, left leg, left hip and right instep. Ambulance personnel treated the victim at the scene. He was then taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further medical attention,” the police spokesman reported. Inniss explained,” There was an argument between the victim and two other people, a 32-year-old male and a 35-year-old female. This argument escalated into an altercation which resulted in the victim receiving the mentioned injuries. The male and female ran from the area but were subsequently arrested by police and taken into custody.
