On Friday, Cave Shepherd & Co. Limited launched its latest subsidiary company, Cave Shepherd Card (Barbados) Inc. under the new brand, Payce Digital, a move that company officials said is in response to increasing demand for digital services as well as part of efforts to diversify its portfolio of businesses. According to Chief Executive Officer of Cave Shepherd Card Barbados Allison Browne-Ellis, Payce Digital paves the way for the introduction of new products and digital services, along with digital payment solutions for the micro and small business sector. The development will benefit the more than 33 000 cardholders of the more than 40-year-old card. โThere is no doubt that the customer of the future is digital and it is our intention to continue to stay abreast of the changes within this payment industryโฆ. It is against this backdrop that a decision was made to establish the Cave Shepherd Card Business to a separate legal entity โ Cave Shepherd Card (Barbados) Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cave Shepherd & Co. Limited. This change gives birth to the introduction of the new brand Payce Digital on the Barbados market,โ she said. โPayce Digital will now offer our cardholders the added convenience and security of eBill payments.
