The weapons and drugs trial of Adrian Fitzgerald Bradshaw and Brian Barry King continued Wednesday in the No. 2 Supreme Court with the testimony of a firearms investigator.

Bradshaw and King are jointly charged with possession of a .357 revolver, a .22 revolver and a 9 mm pistol along with 678 rounds of ammunition on September 15, 2016.

They are also charged with possession and trafficking 37.9 kilogrammes of cannabis.

Bradshaw is representing himself while Dr Lenda Blackman is appearing on behalf of King, while Senior Crown Counsel Oliver Thomas is appearing for the Crown.

The matter is being heard by Justice Randall Worrell.

When the case continued this morning, one witness, Sergeant David Leslie took the stand.

Under cross-examination by Bradshaw, Leslie, a firearm expert, said he was not a fingerprint expert and therefore was not sure if the firearms had been tested for DNA or fingerprints.

He also told Dr Blackman that he was not asked to dust the firearms for prints.

Under re-examination by Thomas, Sergeant Leslie said it was not part of his duties to dust for fingerprints.
