Alleged kidnapper goes before court

A 40-year-old mason is on remand at HMP Dodds in connection with a kidnapping charge.

Leyland Diseo D’Aguiar, who resides at Sky View, Ashton Hall, St Peter appeared before Magistrate Elwood Watts recently accused of unlawfully removing Delicia Manget from Six Roads, St Philip without her consent on August 3.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charge before the District ‘C’
St Matthias Magistrates’ Court.

Sergeant St Clair Phillips successfully objected to bail and D’Aguiar was remanded until August 13.
