Andre Henderson Chase, 42, from Fairview, Christ Church appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Saturday accused of two counts of possession, two counts of possession with intent to supply, two counts of possession with intent to traffic, one count of cultivation and one count of possession of apparatus with intent to misuse cannabis. The offences were allegedly committed on August 5. One set of cannabis weighed 28 kilogrammes and had an estimated street value of $112 000 and the other weighed 18 grammes with an estimated street value of $90. Chase pleaded not guilty to all the charges before the No. 1 District โAโ Magistratesโ Court. With no objection from Sergeant Victoria Taitt, the accused was granted bail in the amount of $8 000 with one surety.
