Public Relations Officer for the Royal Barbados Police Force Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said lawmen responded to the report and on arrival at Apartment #2, Nelson, Maxwell Main Road, discovered the lifeless body of an adult male – later identified as Desmond Alexander Taitt – on the bed in the bedroom. “A black plastic garbage bag was secured over his head with a hose attached which was connected to a gas cylinder. A thorough investigation is ongoing, however, no foul play is suspected. Based on the information from family and friends close to the deceased and the presented circumstances, suicide is suspected,” Acting Inspector Inniss disclosed.
