A St Michael man is Barbados’ latest road fatality. He has been identified as 35-year-old Damien Lynch, of Long Gap, Grazettes, St Michael.

Police say the accident occurred around 3:10 p.m., August 19, along Cleland Hill, St Andrew. It involved a Sanitation Service Authority truck driven by Lynch and a motorcar driven by 60-year-old Everton Morris, of Franklyn Road, Belleplaine, St Andrew.

“The driver of the motor car said he was unhurt but stated he will be seeking private medical attention,” Police Public Relations Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss reported.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
