The matter is now set to continue before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on September 7 when Prosecutor Inspector Janice Ifill is expected to cross examine Browne. The accused, who is president of the Prison Officers Association of Barbados, is on trial before the District โAโ Magistratesโ Court on four charges related to inciting mutiny or sedition at Her Majestyโs Prison Dodds, St Philip. Browne is charged that between May 1 and May 9, 2018 he maliciously endeavoured to seduce fellow officers David Davis, Ophneal Austin, Shanell Ellis-Vaughn and Stephenson Trotman from their duties by participating in a sickout.
