The clarification comes in response to a WhatsApp message circulating on social media, which states that starting from today, Saturday, September 4, there will be a tightening on the restriction of movement, and as a result, a daily curfew will be imposed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Further, it states that a curfew will be imposed from 5 p.m. on Friday, September 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, September 13, and from 5 p.m. on Friday, September 17, to 5 a.m., Monday, September 20. This information does not apply to Barbados. Barbadians are reminded to rely on information on the curfew and COVID-19 which is provided by the Government Information Service, and other credible information agencies and media houses.
